ABOUT THE BOOK

In 2015, Texas photographer Jeremy Enlow went to the Waggoner Ranch to document 26 cowboys who live and work in the same way they have for generations. The result is the 140-page hardbound Cowboys of the Waggoner Ranch, made right here in Texas. Against the odds for a new self-published author, the first run sold out in just 10 days. Now in it’s third printing, Cowboys of the Waggoner Ranch has been featured in Western Horseman and is the 2016 Southwest Book Festival Grand Prize Winner.

The book features portraits of the cowboys, as well as up-close shots of their daily work.

“Most everyone I know with a ‘real’ job couldn’t last five minutes cowboying on the Waggoner. They physically abuse their bodies with a finesse that’s mastered with years of experience. There is no break until the job is done. Whether it rains, sleets or snows, the cowboys are always working.” – Jeremy Enlow

Committed to maximum quality and supporting local business, Enlow employed native Texan Jan Batts to write the text of the book and produced it in Fort Worth. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book benefits The Waggoner Ranch Cowboys Fund. Support American art, cowboys, and get your own tumbleweed? Come on, you know you want to!
